STEWARDSHIP
During the course of a design project, our clients place enormous resources in our
care. We embrace the responsibility to consider the best and most worthy
distribution of these resources within the unique parameters of every project. And we
are stewards not only of the project resources, but likewise the project vision -
carefully guiding the establishment and embodiment of the goals for each project in
the final design.
On a broader scale, we are all stewards of the great gift of creation. We share
responsibility for the ways in which we use and allocate the goods of this world. As
designers, our role in this larger context is an important one, since each building that
we design participates in the greater social fabric, and ought to do so responsibly for
many years to come.
