INNOVATION
We believe that tradition and innovation are very closely related, and disregarding one only
weakens the other. Yet all too often, tradition has been ignored by designers and
architects who have considered innovation as the primary benchmark of good design.
Tradition is deeply rooted, but not static, and innovation must emerge from within our rich
heritage, not in ignorance of it. Innovation remains arbitrary without reference to tradition,
and we risk losing the shared values and communal sense of our built environment.
At Integration Design Group we approach each project with a respect for history, context,
and tradition, and we pursue innovation respectful of history - seeking design that endures.
